DESIGN CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

(Consultation Terms)
By booking a Design Consultation with Juliana Designs Interiors, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
These terms apply to all consultations provided by:
Juliana Designs LLC DBA Juliana Designs Interiors (“Designer”)
1. CONSULTATION SERVICE
The Design Consultation is a professional interior design advisory session lasting sixty (60) minutes.
Consultations may be delivered:
Virtually via Zoom (or comparable platform), or
In-person at the Client’s home within the Columbus, Ohio service area
The consultation may cover topics such as:
Furniture placement and layout guidance
Paint, finishes, and material direction
Renovation aesthetic recommendations
Styling and design cohesion
General design clarity for the home
2. CONSULTATION LIMITATIONS
The consultation is an advisory service only.
It does not include:
Floor plans or measured drawings
Elevations or construction documentation
3D renderings or visualizations
Product ordering or procurement
Contractor coordination or project management
Ongoing design support beyond the session
Written design packages unless separately contracted
Any continued work requires a separate Full-Service Interior Design Agreement.
3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure a valuable consultation, Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information, which may include:
Clear room photos or video walkthroughs
Approximate measurements
Inspiration references
Budget expectations and project goals
For virtual consultations, Client is responsible for having reliable internet and video access.
Designer is not responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete or inaccurate Client-provided information.
4. CONSULTATION FEE
The consultation fee is:
$150.00 USD
Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
All consultation fees are non-refundable.
5. RESCHEDULING AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Consultations may be rescheduled with at least twenty-four (24) hours notice.
Failure to attend the scheduled consultation without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
6. CONSULTATION CREDIT
If Client retains Designer for Full-Service Interior Design within thirty (30) days of the consultation date, the $150 consultation fee will be applied as a credit toward the Project Design Fee.
This credit:
May be applied once per project
Is non-transferable
Cannot be applied to furnishings, materials, or contractor costs
7. NO GUARANTEED OUTCOMES
Design recommendations are subjective and depend on implementation by third parties.
Designer does not guarantee:
Specific aesthetic outcomes
Contractor pricing or workmanship
Product availability or timelines
Renovation or construction results
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All recommendations, concepts, and materials provided during the consultation remain the intellectual property of Designer.
Client may apply guidance solely for the property discussed and may not reproduce or distribute Designer’s work for other purposes.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE (OPTIONAL)
Client authorizes Designer to photograph the home for portfolio and marketing purposes.
No personal identifying information or address will be shared publicly.
Permission may be revoked in writing before photography.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Designer is not responsible for:
Contractor performance or execution
Purchasing decisions made by Client
Vendor delays, defects, or substitutions
Structural or engineering issues
Designer’s liability is limited to the consultation fee paid.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Any legal action shall be filed in Franklin County, Ohio.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By booking a consultation through the Juliana Designs Studio scheduling link, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Consultation Terms.
